  • A play about a spaceman, a whale and you… Lost In Place was developed through a brand new program initiated by the Vancouver Fringe Festival and The Only Animal Theatre Company. The Onsite Program was an intensive course in the individual creation of a site-specific performance. Staged under The Big Yellow Crane on Granville Island, the show ended up becoming a whimsical experiment in audience interaction and a modern fairy tale for adults. Under twinkling christmas lights and a backdrop of False Creek high-rises, audiences giggled and were delightfully reminded of the quirks and challenges of humanity through the eyes of two unlikely creatures.
“A wide-eyed Soulstein proves his improvising chops. Never does he break character. The caped protagonist appears authentically bewildered by all things Earthly. Come prepared for interactivity. Standing room only."
