  • Nominated for the 2017 Georgia Straight Critics Choice Innovation Award. A female transit cop ventures to solve her husband’s murder and finds herself mixed up in Vancouver’s criminal underground. Inspired by the unique dining experience Dark Table, Three Stories Up is an alternate sensory experience, staged in complete darkness. The audience is ushered into the pitch-black seating area and a play comes to life around them. Relying on only the voice, the written word and sounds... it's up to the audience to paint the scene visually in their minds.
"Viscerally compelling, Three Stories Up makes you pay attention—and it pays off. Excellent sound design... The plot is satisfyingly complex, and phrase by phrase, Gordon's writing is often gorgeous... Stroke of genius to set it in the dark."
